Second, it doesn’t just apply to other nations. The political process in America oozes this stuff. The so-called leaders believe if they say the right things, utter the proper soundbites, the vast majorities will merely nod and continue on with consumerism. Which is true—we do. So what if Wall Street has bilked us for billions? so what is the GOP is trying to crush unions in the name of disarming the lower and middle classes? So what if the Supreme Court has given coporations the power to lord over everything.
